Foreclosure Prevention
If you are behind on your mortgage payment, or are concerned that you will be unable to afford your mortgage in the future, Visionary Home Builders can help. It is important to call for assistance as early in the process as possible. Follow the steps below to get the assistance you need from a reliable and trusted source.
Step 1
Come to the Visionary Home Builders office to pick up your foreclosure prevention packet, or download the packet from here (English Foreclosure Prevention Packet ) (Español Aplicación Para la Prevención de la Ejecución Hipotecaria).
Step 2
Complete the forms, authorizations and disclosures in the packet, including making copies of all required documents. We Cannot Accept Original Documents
Step 3
After you complete the packet and copy all the necessary documents, drop off the packet in person or mail it in. Our staff will call you within 24 hours to notify you that the packet was received and if there is any missing information. Your appointment will take place a week and a half to two weeks later. During your appointment, your situation will be analyzed and you will be presented with a list of options. Once the appropriate option has been chosen, your housing coach will assist you with execution of the plan, from working out a loss mitigation plan with your lender, to helping you negotiate to receive some cash from your lender (the Cash for Keys Program) to cover moving costs should you not be able to keep your home. Our trained and caring staff will stay with you throughout the entire process until a resolution is reached.
