Neighborhood Stabilization Program

SUBCONTRACTOR & REALTORS WORKSHOP

 

A meeting is being held Tuesday, April 28  -9:00am in Aspen Hall at University Park for California Licensed Subcontractors and Realtors to obtain specifications on the bidding process for jobs through the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP).  Meetings are being led by Visionary Home Builders of California.

 The City of Stockton and San Joaquin County collectively have received 21 million in allocated funds from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, for the purchase and repair of vacant, foreclosed homes that will in turn be sold to qualified buyers.

    Stockton event 8:30am to 4pm. Event for homebuyers consisting of a morning seminar and an afternoon tour of available FreddieMac REO properties in the area. Attendees earn a certificate worth up to 4% of home purchase price to be used towards closing costs. Sponsored by FreddieMac, Wells Fargo and Visionary Home Builders.   • Home Buyers Education Part 2

    5pm - 7pm: This class is designed specifically for the participants of the "Believing in a Place Called Home" workshop. Taking Part 2 and attending a counseling session makes these participants eligible for their Home Buyers Education Certificate.
